Membership Plastic Cards Guidelines

Bleeds	2mm on all sides
Safe Zones	3mm in from all sides.
Accepted File Types	PDF version 1.4 or higher formats only
Resolution	300 dpi for all images and artwork at full size; 800 dpi for all text as an image
Colours	CMYK or grey scale only
Fonts	All fonts are embedded or converted to curves
Variable Names	Must be saved in a CSV file

Ensure artwork is properly sized with the required bleed.
Flatten all transparency effects.
Turn off overprint.
Remove all color profiles. Only CMYK.
Verify that all images are at the correct resolution.
Remove registration marks, keylines, dielines, and other non-printing items.
If crop marks are needed, position them outside the bleed area.
For full-color printing of large solid black areas, use rich black to achieve a deeper black color and better print quality. We recommend using a rich black with CMYK values of 30, 20, 20, 100.
